Early Years

Ivanka Trump was born in Manhattan on October 30, 1981, and spent her childhood there with her famous parents, real estate billionaire Donald Trump and socialite/Czech-American model Ivana Trump. Ivanka's parents divorced when she was ten years old, and she went to boarding school. She attended the Chapin School before transferring to Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut.

Ivanka chose to try her hand at modeling at the age of 14 after being unhappy at Choate and promised her parents that she would keep up her academics. In 1997, she signed with Elite Model Management and appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine for the first time. By the age of 16, she had already walked the runways for Thierry Mugler, Versace, and Marc Bouwer, been featured in Elle magazine, and co-hosted the Miss Teen USA 1997 pageant.

Personal Experiences

In 2009, Ivanka married Kushner, a real estate developer, and entrepreneur. Arabella Rose (born July 2011), Joseph Frederick (born October 2013), and Theodore James Kushner are the couple's three children (born March 2016).

In order to follow her husband's faith, Ivanka converted to Orthodox Judaism. She follows a kosher diet and keeps the Sabbath holy.

Career

In 2007, Trump created a joint venture with Dynamic Diamond Corp. The business was a diamond and gold jewelry line. Her Madison Avenue flagship store relocated to 109 Mercer Street in 2011.

The following year, "Ivanka Trump's main store on Mercer Street appears to be closed," with the storefront being "stripped clean."

She also had her own line of Ivanka Trump clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories, which were sold in major US and Canadian department shops like Macy's and Hudson's Bay.

Ivanka Trump scarves were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in 2016 because they did not fulfill federal flammability standards. According to a 2016 study, the majority of the fashion line is made outside of the United States.

Three members of the China Labor Watch organization were arrested by Chinese officials in June 2017 while researching Huajian International, which manufactures shoes for various American companies, including Ivanka Trump's.

Trump began modeling "on weekends and holidays and obviously not during the school year" while attending boarding school, according to her mother, Ivana Trump.

Estimated Net Worth

Ivanka Trump's net worth is expected to hit $800 million by 2022.
